The Department of Safety is involved in the company’s entire operation, developing proactive tools for prevention, control and investigation, and for the recommendation of solutions for both human and system-related incidents. It works with both the internal and external groups that are directly involved in flight operations: pilots, flight attendants, mechanics (AMT) and flight operations officers.

Its objective is compliance with the most demanding safety standards: both those required by Civil Aviation and those established as regulations at Futura.

Futura’s Department of Safety commands great prestige within the air transport sector both in Spain and Europe.

Some of the airlines that have requested training or advisory services from Futura’s Department of Safety include: Iberia, Vueling, Gestair, Aebal, and Iberworld, among others. The department also takes part in all the sector’s professional forums, sharing the expertise generated at Futura.
